Lila

Sunday, March 28th, 2010

I’m sure I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - I love, love, love my job! Especially on days like this one a couple of weeks ago when I had the pleasure of being introduced to Lila. What a little cutie she is …

Her gorgeous big sister was rather unimpressed by the photo shoot going on and had more important things to be getting on with!

Faith

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Oh dear, the summer madness has been getting the better of me and I’m rather late at posting this sneak preview!

It was great to meet little Faith, a true bundle of joy and such a happy little thing at only 8 days old for her first photo session in the comfort of her own home. Mum and dad were great too, really up for trying out my ideas and happy to move the furniture around in their living room to get the best natural light (thanks guys).

I had lots of fun & couldn’t stop laughing to myself for ages about Faith’s little accident on daddy!!!

Max

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

It was a great pleasure to meet handsome little Max the other day. He did have rather a different agenda to mine however, i.e. one that didn’t involve being posed for photos! With lots of patience and his super mummy on hand for comfort hugs we managed to get some lovely images. Here’s one of my favourites:

Let me know what you think.

Blu

At just 12 days old and what a handsome fella little Blu is! Not just that but really happy too - must be his cool parents!

I think I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again - I just LOVE my job!

Newborn Casting Call!

Thursday, April 9th, 2009

I’m constantly inspired to create visual art and recently my mind has been overflowing with all manner of ideas for a newborn project. I’m hoping to run a number of sessions aimed at achieving specific ideas using various poses and props. I have to say that, it’s difficult to know if my ideas will work (as I haven’t tried them yet) but the time has come to put the ideas into practice so that I can find out!

So my casting call requirement is for newborn babies (up to 10 days old) to be photographed at home. The session will be based around a couple of ideas that I would like to try. Some of the ideas may take a little while to get right (as they are new ideas) but I have heaps of patience and am happy to wait for baby feeds, comfort cuddles, nappy changes and baby to fall asleep!!! If baby is happy, and there is time, we may be able to try further ideas also.

For this casting call, I will need you to sign a model release (so that I can publish the images) and in return there will be no session fee as well as complimentary prints. If you would like, you can also make further purchases from the session at a specially reduced rate.

If you have just had your baby or are pregnant now and would like to be involved then please give me a call, or drop me an e-mail, ASAP so that I can clear a space in my diary for the session.

Ooooh, baby, baby!!!

Sunday, April 5th, 2009

On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting the fabulous Natasha and her gorgeous newborn Eloise. It has to be said that new little babes tend not to take direction too well in a photo session, of course they have other things on their mind like feeding and clean nappies! Still, with a bit of patience and a super cool mum we managed to get these crackers!

Let me know what you think!

Matilda

Friday, November 28th, 2008

This isn’t the first time that I’ve had the privilege to photograph this little star!

Matilda brought her ‘ladybug’ roll-along with her and set me a bit of a challenge in trying to keep up as she rolled around the room and then later outside! Still it was lots of fun and reminded me of just how much I love my job!

Gorgeous Bumps & Beautiful Babies

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

I have to admit that when I was pregnant and having my babies those precious first few weeks ‘babymoon’ seemed to fly by far too quickly and some of the details are a ‘bit of a blur’ now. Being the only one in the family ‘handy with a camera’ I have no lovely images of my bump but thankfully I do have some rather good ones of my two beautiful girls in their first few weeks when I enjoyed capturing their every detail and expression.

Now, some years later, I’m really pleased to be able to capture those details for others in the comfort of your own home.
