One of the many good things about this profession is that I get to meet such lovely people and often at a very special and happy time in their lives and last weekend’s photo session with Hilary & Richard was no exception.

With their wedding just a couple of short weeks away it was great to catch up with them and to learn about their plans for the day and despite the rather damp weather conditions we managed to have a bit of fun with the camera too.

Can’t wait for the Big Day!

Her gorgeous big sister was rather unimpressed by the photo shoot going on and had more important things to be getting on with!

Another blogging catch up!

This gorgeous young lady is actually my niece and she’s been patiently waiting her turn to be blogged since last year when I took the photos - so sorry that it’s taken SO long Robyn - it was such a fun shoot trying out different outfits, locations and poses. My only excuse is that last year was my busiest yet and family photos always end up being relegated to the bottom of the pile to be eventually sorted out over the winter.

Anyway, here’s hoping to ‘catch up’ with you again this summer.

I was SO delighted at the end of last year to be asked by Tracy to provide the photography for her new website. I was particularly delighted because she is such a creative person to be able to work with and produces the most beautiful, unique products - I know, I’m lucky enough to own some! So I really didn’t need any persuading to be involved in the project but added to all this, her gorgeous daughter catherine was to be our model.

Finding a suitable day for the fashion shoot proved a little more tricky but finally we went for it despite the windy weather the light was brilliant. A second shoot at Tracy’s weave studio provided the close up shots to show the detail involved in her highly skilled craft.

Was it really back in October that I last posted! Blogging catch up coming up …

This little sweetie was as good as gold for her very first casting call at just 9 days old! She must have been exhausted after our session as she was so wide awake and seemed to really like the sound of the camera shutter - a model in the making!

It was great to meet up with this lovely family once again a few weeks back and really good to be able to try out a new nearby location - I always feel inspired by new locations!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing the gorgeous Matilda since she was a baby and she just gets more and more gorgeous every time I see her - lots of fun too!

I can’t wait to get designing a beautiful album for these guys.

Oh dear, the summer madness has been getting the better of me and I’m rather late at posting this sneak preview!

It was great to meet little Faith, a true bundle of joy and such a happy little thing at only 8 days old for her first photo session in the comfort of her own home. Mum and dad were great too, really up for trying out my ideas and happy to move the furniture around in their living room to get the best natural light (thanks guys).

I had lots of fun & couldn’t stop laughing to myself for ages about Faith’s little accident on daddy!!!

I was delighted to meet this lovely family last week for a couple of hours at the beautiful Manor Farm Country Park. 

It was a great pleasure to meet handsome little Max the other day. He did have rather a different agenda to mine however, i.e. one that didn’t involve being posed for photos! With lots of patience and his super mummy on hand for comfort hugs we managed to get some lovely images. Here’s one of my favourites:
